Creative Arts

The First Lutheran community is blessed with a wide variety of creative gifts, and we are always looking for more talented people to be a part of creating our worship experiences! We seek to employ the creative arts in worship, including drawing, painting, videography, photography, woodworking, drama, and more.

Handbell Choir

The Handbell Choir, “First Ring”, participates monthly in 9:00 a.m. Worship and rehearses each Monday evening at 6:00 p.m. A beginning and growing ringing group, “Joyfully Ring”, meets each Wednesday at 4:15 p.m. during CONNECTIONS. These ringers range in age from 3rd grade through adult, and ring for worship at special times throughout the year.

Amazing Grace Choir

Amazing Grace Choir sings at the 11:00 a.m. Amazing Grace Worship each Sunday and practices on Wednesdays during CONNECTIONS at 7:00 p.m. in First Lutheran’s Chapel. It is our goal to sing many types of music from contemporary to traditional and arrangements of gospel tunes, so that as many people as possible have the opportunity to be fed through the message of song. Anyone interested in singing with us is encouraged to come join us in this ministry of music.
