Since its inception in 1985, the First Lutheran Foundation, Inc., has provided financial support to mission that complements the ministry of the congregation. The Foundation does not fund the regular ministry of First Lutheran Church; rather, the Foundation uses investment earnings to support initiatives beyond the ongoing ministry of the congregation such as senior housing, college scholarships, foreign mission, capital improvements to the church, cab rides for seniors, Luther Park Bible Camp, and much, much more. The First Lutheran Foundation is dedicated to encouraging members and friends of the congregation to be good stewards with their lifetime assets and provides free professional consultation through Gift Planning Services.
