Students working on an art project

Sunday morning education for children, youth, and adults begins at 9:05 a.m. during the school year.

Children age three through kindergarten meet in a conventional classroom setting where there is a set routine with a caring teacher who shares the basic stories of the Bible.

Children in grades one through five participate in exciting workshops where groups rotate through rooms set up as learning centers: computer lab, theater, puppet room, art room, kitchen, etc. The children are engaged in hands-on activities which reinforce biblical material.

Youth in grades six through eight have Sunday morning Confirmation class. Each year, they cover material on one of the following topics: Luther and Paul, Persons of the Old Testament, Persons of the New Testament.

Senior high youth are involved in overseeing many of the workshops for younger children. When they prepare to teach and share with children, they learn and grow in their faith as they model it for others. Senior high youth also have the option of participating in a youth discussion group with weekly relevant topics or the adult class.
