Walking the Labyrinth as a tool for contemplation and prayer
|
Two organized prayer groups respond in prayer to requests. First, the Prayer Group of First Lutheran meets at the church at 6:45 a.m. each Tuesday. Second, an active email prayer chain also shares prayer requests quickly.
Those wishing to have prayers offered on their behalf can make their prayer request known in one of three ways: complete a Prayer Request Card found in the pew racks in the sanctuary, email one of the pastors or parish nurse, or call the church office at 832-8321.
Walk our 40 foot diameter canvas Labyrinth in the gymnasium at selected times of the year. It is available as a tool for prayer and meditation. First Lutheran also helped fund the outdoor labyrinth at Phoenix Park, a city park in Eau Claire.
