Gathering to praise God as a community of faith is central to the life and ministry of First Lutheran Church. Worship is where God comes to us with the good news of Jesus Christ in Word and Sacrament and where we come to God with our prayer, praise and thanksgiving.

In addition to the above offerings, First Lutheran has other opportunities for worship: Healing Services, special children's services, All Saints' worship with memorial candle lighting by worshipers, Christ the King Sunday “do-it-yourself” Hallelujah Chorus, and two annual joint worship services held with Grace Lutheran: Thanksgiving Eve (Wednesday) and “Praise in the Park,” a Sunday morning service at the main ball diamond of Carson Park.
