Sanctuary

The sanctuary seats 800 worshipers and is handicapped accessible. The stained glass windows, the extensive multimedia capabilities, the majesty of the pipe organ, and the rich red interior make for an attractive and functional worship space at First Lutheran Church.

First Lutheran’s facility has an elevator for disabled
accessibility, space for wheelchairs in the sanctuary,
and ample congregation-owned parking adjacent to
the church.

Chapel

The Chapel provides a small, intimate setting for worship. It is used for Healing Services, small weddings and funerals, and private prayer and meditation.

Main Office

The main office is the "nerve-center" of the congregation. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 5:00 p.m.

Gymnasium

The gym is used for athletic activities and congregational events. Preschool and youth groups use it extensively, volleyball and basketball are popular gym activities, and at selected times our 40’ Labyrinth is spread out on the gym floor for walking and meditation.

Youth Ministry Rooms

The entire lower level of the church is dedicated to youth ministry. The newly renovated space includes a lounge with large screen TV, kitchen, restrooms with showers, and large gathering area with stage and foosball, pool, and air hockey games.

First Lutheran Preschool

Two large classrooms are dedicated to the First Lutheran Preschool. The bright cheery spaces invite children ages 2 1/2 & 3 to grow and learn in a Christian setting. First Lutheran Preschool has been shaping the lives of little ones for almost 30 years and is widely known for its dedicated teachers and excellent learning environment.

Assembly

The Assembly is a large meeting room complete with sound system and multimedia capabilities. Sunday adult education, conferences, and large events are held in the Assembly. The modern kitchen adjacent to the Assembly allows for the preparation of meals and banquets such as pancake breakfasts, wedding receptions, funeral luncheons, etc. The Library is located along the south wall of the Assembly.

Auditorium

The auditorium is used as space for confirmation class and large group lectures.

Cana Room

Named from the Wedding at Cana story, this room is used for bridal preparation, Bible studies, and small group gatherings.

Lounge

The lounge is a comfortable room located on the main floor of the church. It is used for fellowship, Bible studies, and meetings. This multi-purpose room reflects the congregation's Scandinavian heritage through the beautiful artwork.

Sunday School

First Lutheran is blessed with extensive classroom space. Some of our classrooms are set up as an art room, puppetry and drama room.

Norway Room

Located next to the Gymnasium, the Norway Room is a multipurpose room used for small groups, Bible study, and meetings. The Scandinavian décor acknowledges the congregation’s history.

Synod Resource Center

First Lutheran hosts the Northwest Synod of Wisconsin’s resource center. The Synod Resource Center is primarily an electronic library that serves the whole church by providing information to anyone who wishes to access it.
